I want to Lower Run Costs
Labor, reagents, equipment and overhead are some of the factors that impact cost per data point. Slab gel methods have low reagent costs, but high labor costs for gels preparation and handling. Lab-on-a-chip analytical methods have high-cost consumables and relatively high labor costs due to manual sample processing requirements.
Using the NGS Fragment Analyzer™ for RNA analysis can lower both labor and reagent run costs for two main reasons:
- streamlined sample handling that requires only two pipetting steps.
- reagents at less than half the typical cost of other analytical instruments.
The following factors allow lower run costs of RNA on the NGS Fragment Analyzer™:
- Minimal sample handling - add marker to sample aliquot and place on instrument
- Ability to analyze 12 samples at one time
- Analyzing RNA quality and quantity with one instrument and at the same time
