The NGS Fragment Analyzer™ Fluorescent Instrument.
The NGS Fragment Analyzer™ sizes and quantifies nucleic acid smears typically obtained from NGS library preparations, RNA extractions and genomic DNA extractions. Using fluorescence-based capillary electrophoresis, the instrument utilizes a 12-capillary-array that separates samples quickly (under 30 minutes) and effectively (high resolution).
End-users can achieve accurate and reproducible sizing and quantification of nucleic acids because the instrument uses a sensitive intercalating fluorescent dye coupled with a powerful LED light source. Specific application kits are available for: NGS fragment analysis; RNA quantitation and analysis; and genomic DNA quantification and qualification analysis.
In addition to the full-featured NGS Fragment Analyzer™, the application kits help laboratories to streamline workflow and avoid bottlenecks typically found with competitive lab-on-a-chip methods.
Each and every kit is performance-tested prior to shipment to ensure quality, accuracy and ease of use for customers. Most kits require a single pipetting step before placement of the sample plate onto the instrument.
